I expected good things from this game since it is apart of one of the greatest movie series ever. My predictions were right for this game. It's very entertaining. Basically this is a side scrolling fighting dinosaur game. It has a lot of the Dinosaurs from the JP films as well as a batch of other great characters, but like most entertaining games, it is very beyond the realms of reality. All the dinosaurs in the game are just about the same size and they have them doing movements that would cause some serious damage to themselves. But that makes it all the more fun. There are tons of fighting combinations that you can use, certain dinosaurs as well have the same fighting moves as each other (Ex. Tyrannosaurus Acrocanthosaurus) and some have their own.

Most of the levels in the game are from the movies, and a couple aren’t. One of the funniest and entertaining things in the game is that you can eat passing humans, goats, or compys to raise your health up. The graphics are pretty good for PS1 standards and the dinosaur sounds are excellent for the time of making. They have the classic Tyrannosaurus and raptor voices, which I think are the best in the series. They also have a museum area where you can check out all the dinosaurs that you have unlocked and see how long, tall, etc, they are. Overall this game is awesome for side scrolling action fun type game.
