This is a text based role play that will take place on the forum. It is based on a novel being written by our forum member Tomozaurus and is indirectly based off the TV show LOST. A huge new cruise ship sets off from Brookings, Oregon, USA into the pacific ocean. The massive luxury cruise is meant to head from Brookings to Hawaii whilst the passengers relax and then return after a week on the island. However, on the trip something goes horribly askew and the ship is caught in a powerful tropical storm. This forces the cruise ship off course and then seems to drag it many miles in one direction without the ships captain having any hope to changing course. With tempers already fuming on the ship between passengers and officials over their position the seemingly living storm sinks the cruise. Small amounts of people manage to flee the ship via life boats. One of these is washed ashore on a mysterious, foggy island covered in lush rain forest.

The small group of survivors set adrift on the life boat must now find a way to survive on this seemingly deserted island and find a way to be rescued or escape themselves. However, these objectives will be made difficult by the dangerous inhabitants of the island.

This is a mysterious cretaceous island known as Isla de Muertes. It is not overly large, roughly thirty kilometers across. It is surrounded almost entirely by a volcanically active mountain range which hid an inner world of lush tropical jungles and steaming swamps and lakes in which the prehistoric animals roam.
