From Crichton's novel came undoubtedly one of the greatest movies of all time. Spielberg and Universal Studios brought to the big screen a movie years ahead of its time and captivated an entire generation of dinosaur addicts. The plot involves extinct dinosaurs miraculously being brought back by the latest in bioengineering technology. John Hammond, owner of the company InGen, has created a theme park showcasing his dinosaurs. He invites a group of scientists and his grandchildren for the first tour in response to pressure from concerned investors. Everyone is amazed by what they see, but cannot ignore the dangers this new park presents. Ultimately, the failures of this new technology are exposed and chaos erupts in Jurassic Park. This movie is as thrilling today as it was back in 1993 when it first captivated the public.
