Alan has been through this before. In Jurassic Park 3 he's working with Velociraptors, and his team has discovered that they were smarter than previously thought. They are able to communicate. He's tricked into going to Isla Sorna by Paul Kirby. In a plane crash, he is stranded on what could be the worst place in the world.

Billy is a young paleontologist who assists Dr. Grant. He comes along with Grant and the Kirbys to Isla Sorna and is stranded along with the others. He make a foolish mistake, in taking raptor eggs, and the Raptors are angry. He makes up for his mistake, in heroicly saving Eric from the Pteranodons.

Paul Kirby is the father of Eric Kirby. When Eric was stranded 8 weeks earlier and the government did nothing about it, he and his ex-wife decided to go to the island themselves. They hired some people, including paleontologist Alan Grant, to help them. The only way to get Grant to come was by tricking him in to believing that they were just going to fly by the island. He gives them a phony check and finally gets them to Isla Sorna.

Amanda, the ex-wife of Paul Kirby and mother of Eric Kirby, comes to the island to rescue her son. She and Paul got a group to come along and set off to find Eric. They don't get along well, but later they seem to work out their differences.

Eric is the son of Paul and Amanda Kirby. After a parasailing accident, Eric is stranded on Isla Sorna. He manages to survive 8 weeks until Grant and the others arrive. He was able to use the supplies that InGen left behind to survive. He saves Alan Grant from a pack of Velociraptors with a gas grenade. He is later reunited with his parents.

Nash is a part of the team to rescue Eric Kirby. He flies the plane to Isla Sorna. They have an accident and is killed by a Spinosaurus.

Cooper is a trained mercenary, brought to Isla Sorna by the Kirbys to rescue their son. He is later killed by a Spinosaurus.

Udesky was an assistant to Nash and Cooper. He was co-pioleted on the plane. Udesky was killed by Velociraptors and his body was used by the super intelligent raptors, as a trap to catch Amanda Kirby.

Ellie is now married and has two children. She meets Alan and they discuss his latest work with Velociraptors. After the group finds the phone, Alan calls Ellie and she is able to send the military to rescue them.

Mark is the husband of Ellie and father of Charlie. He works for the state department, and is able to get the Navy and Marines to go to Isla Sorna and rescue Grant and the others.
